Club Awards
The MCC of C believes in recognizing significant achievement by the members in supporting their Club. This recognition takes the form of a Long Service Medal for 15 years of continuous membership as well as a Long Service Medal ribbon bar for each additional 10 year period and at 40 additional years, the newly approved 55-Year Bar.
In addition to long service, the Club awards a 'Merit' clasp for significant contributions. Examples include organizing and working on a Convention committee, articles for the Journal, and other contributions to the success and well-being of our Club.
There is no charge for the initial issue of the medal or clasp however, replacements can be ordered through the Kit Shop.
15-Year Long Service Medals and 10-Year Bars
All eligible members receive, free of charge, Club long service awards. These include the Club's Long Service Medal for fifteen years continuous service, and the Club's Ten-Year Bar for each additional ten-year period. If you are eligible to receive a long service award, submit a request to the Secretary/Treasurer. A request is required.
Members #0001 to #0609 are eligible for their 4th bar.
Members #0610 to #1862 are eligible for their 3rd bar.
Members #1863 to #2500 are eligible for their 2nd bar.
Members #2501 to #3080 are eligible for their 1st bar.
Members #3081 to #3398 are eligible for their 15 YLSM.
